18th Century Portuguese Chestnut Cupboard
A dramatic and primitive early 18th century vernacular cupboard constructed from heavy chestnut timber. Stained dark and heavily patinated by its utilitarian past, including some seemingly scorched areas and characterful historic repairs. The two doors open to reveal three shelves within. Portuguese, c. 1700.
