19th Century Italian Embroidered Table
An unusual 19th century occasional table in turned, ebonised and crimson accented timber. Protected by glass, the intricate silk embroidered top and tasselled fringing, depicting instrument-playing figures, tropical birds and medieval style busts amongst decorative crests and floral motifs. Italian, c. 1850.
