Late 18th Century Sicilian Vessel
A large and charming two-handled maiolica ceramic vessel, likely from Caltagirone, Sicily. Known as a ‘quartara’, it features hand-painted scrolling foliate motifs in pastel green and waved banding in lemon yellow. Italian, 1791.
