Watchmaker's Atelier Drawers

A statement bank of drawers from a watchmaker’s atelier, constructed from pitch pine and various older timbers. Likely scratch-built for the workshop, it would have originally housed watch components in the eighty small drawers that span the width. Each drawer with brass pulls, having charming pencil descriptions of the historic contents on their sliding lids. Would work well as a characterful console/sideboard or in a retail setting. French, c. 1950.
